Gardenary is a leading online business specializing in garden education, supplies and garden consultant certification. We are dedicated to providing innovative solutions that meet the needs of our diverse customer base. As we continue to expand our online presence, we are seeking a Head of Programs to join our team.
Position Overview:
The mission of the Head of Programs is to contribute to the overall profitability of Gardenary by bringing strategy and quality to the execution of Kitchen Garden Academy (KGA), Gardenary Consultant Certification (GCC), and other future course offerings in order to provide a high-end, continuously improving experience for our students and Gardenary Certified Coaches. GCC, our certification program, serves 300+ students each quarter in our quarterly certification cohorts; these are advanced gardeners who are working to start a garden consulting business. The Head of Programs will understand the intricate components of this certification program, and the mission of this role will be recruiting, training, and managing relationships of both internal and contracted coaches that will embody our values and present our content with excellence.
As the Head of Programs, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to drive high levels of engagement, participation, and completion rates for our Gardenary Consultant Certification program. You will leverage your expertise in engagement, social media, and gamification to create a dynamic and immersive learning experience for our students.
As Head of Programs at Gardenary, you will be responsible for the following areas:
- You will have a global vision over messaging, brand, and promotional goals.
- Lead creation of social media engagement strategy and live event coordination.
- Have a strong pulse on what’s trending, what works, what converts.
- You will be an effective strategy builder/vision caster
- You will be a strong, engaging, and effective leader of multiple direct reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive engagement strategy to maximize student participation and completion rates for the Gardenary Consultant Certification program
- Leverage innovative engagement tactics, such as gamification, social media, and interactive content, to keep students motivated and invested throughout the program
- Analyze program data and student feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven enhancements
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure seamless integration of engagement initiatives across all touchpoints
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online learning, engagement, and program management
- Manage a team of contract coaches to execute on engagement initiatives
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of engagement strategies and make data-driven decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with program stakeholders, including instructors, students, and industry partners
- Lead weekly zoom meetings for Kitchen Garden Academy students and Gardenary Consultant Certification Students
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive departmental budget
- Collaborate cross departmentally to plan and produce live events
- Develop and own program strategy and schedule for future membership program
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possesses the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or education; master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in program management, with a strong track record of driving high engagement and completion rates
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing successful engagement strategies, with a focus on social media, gamification, and interactive content
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience in the education or online learning industry
- Passion for lifelong learning
- Bonus points for being passionate about gardening

Position Salary: $100,000-$120,000, based on experience
